The NC General Assembly adjourned without giving public school employees raises. THEY LEFT WITHOUT PASSING A BUDGET.
We are calling on all GCS employees to come together for a working session for us to democratically decide what next steps we should take. Most immediately we have asked Gov. Cooper to call a special session to give raises before the start of the new year.
The Interactive Resource Center, Greensboro’s resource center for people experiencing homelessness, is hosting us in their main meeting room. Please bring packaged snack items and/or coffee to donate to their Winter Shelter.
